Courtesy of Cheapassgamer.com, I present you with today’s “On The Cheap”. As you may or may not know, Amazon.com offers one video game deal every day, known as Deal of the Day (DotD). Today’s DotD is for the Xbox 360, and is the subject of our On The Cheap.

Amazon is offering both Mass Effect and Gears of War for $35 shipped apiece. This is a great deal for two of the best titles available on the Xbox 360. Gears of War will see a re-release later this month for $40, which will include downloadable content that was sold on the Xbox Live Marketplace. So, all in all, it’s probably better to wait on that title if you can. But Mass Effect, on the other hand, is an exceptional deal. This is, in my opinion and the opinions of many others, the best RPG title available on the 360. I highly recommend it to any sci-fi/RPG fans.
